Dated views of the site
A selected set of aerial photographs covering the agreed areas, organised by visit date for your project records.
Open Sky Photography · Edinburgh, East Lothian & Scotland
Give everyone involved in your project a consistent view of progress. We plan aerial photographs, video and optional mapping around your milestones, so teams can compare visible changes and communicate clearly.
A record that develops with the site
Agree the key viewpoints at the start: the overall site, each building or work area, access routes and the details your team needs to follow. Repeating those views makes it easier to review changes between visits.
Visits can be planned around agreed milestones or a recurring programme. Tell us who will use the outputs: a site team, client, funder, marketing department or project archive.

What you get
We define the visit programme and outputs before the first capture.
A selected set of aerial photographs covering the agreed areas, organised by visit date for your project records.
Comparable views of key work areas where site conditions allow, making it easier to discuss what has visibly changed.
Aerial clips or an edited progress film where commissioned. Agree length, orientation, branding and the intended audience in advance.
Orthomosaics, 3D models or point clouds can be commissioned for selected visits, with the required coverage, formats and accuracy checks.
Practical uses
Progress imagery records visible condition. It does not certify workmanship, establish concealed construction details or replace the inspections needed for contractual or statutory sign-off.
Manufacturer example: DJI’s construction progress workflow.
Plan the programme
Yes. We can discuss a recurring programme or visits linked to key stages. The quotation confirms the schedule, weather arrangements and deliverables.
Please specify these before booking. A measurement deliverable needs an appropriate survey method, reference surface and validation. Routine progress photographs alone are not sufficient.
Tell us the intended channels and audience. Editing, branding, permissions and usage terms can then be included in the brief.
Send the site location, project programme and the updates your team needs.
